Come learn the basics of using the MINT's Bridgeport milling machine with George Ambrose.  George has 15 years of experience teaching manufacturing at the high school level, including machining, fabrication and welding.  During this two hour class, you'll learn the basic operation of the machine, how to use the break, and important safety rules and procedures.  The focus of the this introductory class will be drilling hole patterns in different kinds of stock.  You'll learn how to lay out your hole pattern with the digital output or by hand.  Additional follow up classes will focus on additional milling functions, but this introductory class will be required.  This hands-on class is limited to 6 students, MINT Members only.  George has also offered additional one-on-one consulting to any student enrolled in this class to help get you started on your first project.
