  Laser Cutter Re-Orientation

  Description:
  The large flatbed laser is back and better than ever, now featuring a new controller and software! To ensure all trained members can safely and effectively use the updated system, we’re offering mandatory re-orientation classes. This session will cover the new software, updated procedures, and best practices to help you get back to lasering with confidence.

  Who Should Attend:

  • Members who have previously been trained on the laser.
  • This class is required for continued laser access.

  Cost:
  Free for current members.

  Important Note:
  Re-orientation is required before using the laser again. If you have an urgent project and need expedited access, please contact Morgan at morgan@rutlandmint.org.

  Advanced Letterpress & Screen Printing Workshop

  Dive deeper into the art of printing in this advanced, hands-on workshop designed for those who have completed the beginner and intermediate printing classes. Expand your skills and explore the diverse techniques of letterpress and screen printing. Guided by experienced instructor Tom, you’ll integrate your prior knowledge to create custom projects that showcase your creativity and craftsmanship.

  What You’ll Do:

  • Learn advanced techniques for both letterpress and screen printing.
  • Experiment with various printing methods and materials.
  • Design and produce your own:
    • Custom-printed T-shirt
    • Personalized business card
    • Handcrafted greeting card

  By the end of this class, you’ll walk away with unique, professionally crafted items that you’ve designed and printed yourself.
