Join Craig Angstadt, former Industrial Arts teacher, professional woodworker and kitchen and bath designer for this beginning woodworking class, designed for those with little or no knowledge of woodworking & woodworking machinery and tools. The class is designed to include instruction on the safe use of common woodworking machine tools with the emphasis on safety and setup.  The tools include but are not limited to jointer, planer, tablesaw, miter saw, bandsaw and drill press. There will also be instruction on portable power tools such as drills, sanders, routers and jigsaw.  Students will build hands-on experience through the construction of a choice of 1 of 2 simple projects that students will take home at the end of the class.  Both projects are designed to use most or all of the above mentioned tools.  At the the completion of this class students should have enough basic working knowledge to take on further projects on their own and have full access to The MINT wood shop.  The class will meet on Mondays from 5:30-8:30 starting on March 5th and ending on April 2nd.  Class is limited to 5 students.  $200 members, $300 non-members, includes all materials.

A place for tinkerers, makers, and small businesses to have space, contacts, and equipment to thrive. If you possess a passion for creating and making, a MINT membership is for you.
