Vinyl Cutter and Illustrator

Join the Rapid Prototyping lead Michael Woods for a basic intro to illustrator and the vinyl Cutter. We will cover Setting up a document in illustrator, processing a document for vinyl cutting, finding the correct type of document for cutting, and the basic tools within illustrator to get to a cut path readable by our SummaCut vinyl cutter.

We will go over:

- Truck or car lettering

- Logo cut-outs

- Cutting Stencils

- Weeding

- Taping

- Aligning Vinyl on a surface

Next we will cover the basic tools of the Vinyl cutter, and the steps necessary for getting a proper cut, while not damaging the machine.
