Learn how to use the CNC Plasma cutter at the MINT.  In this 60 minute session we will go over how to draw a simple part and create tool paths using Fusion360.

We will then take the g-code created in Fusion360 and import it into MACH 3 (The software that runs the Plasma Cutter)

We will then cut the part from a piece of steel and do some post processing to clean it up.

Having some basic Fusion360 knowledge will help you be able to create tool paths yourself but is not required to participate. After you participate in this session you can schedule some time with me to cut a part of your own / guide you through the setup (You will have to design the part yourself). No need to bring a computer to this session.

Outline:

- Drawing a simple 2D Part in Fusion360

- Creating plasma tool path in Fusion360
