Come to The MINT, Rutland's Makerspace, and learn how to make a farmhouse sign, not just paint one. No experience necessary in this entry-level woodworking class. You will learn how to use some tools in our Wood Shop to cut and assemble your boards. Choose from 3 Vermont stencils and leave with a 15"x24" farmhouse/shabby chic style wood sign.

Be prepared to get dirty as it may get messy. Wear clothes that you're not afraid to get paint or stain on. Better yet, bring a smock or apron to protect your outfit. There will be a variety of stains and paints to choose from. Feel free to bring some snacks and something to drink. This is a BYOB event. Please note that alcohol can only be consumed after the use of power tools.

This is a fun and easy class to dip your toes into the world of woodworking. If you've wanted to learn how to make these types of signs, this class is for you!
