Join us at The MINT for a summer of fun like no other!  On Tuesday, June 29 from 4-8pm we'll be making rideable hovercraft!  The ones we build won't look quite a cool as this one from the 1960s, but we'll build personal hovercraft powered by leaf blowers in the wood shop and then ride them.  We'll use basic power tools to cut and assemble our parts and then jump on for some rounds of hovercraft bowling.  This is a drop-off session for teens (generally kids 13+ but younger kids are welcome if they will be able to complete the project without caregiver help).  Dinner will be provided.  Bring a water bottle.  Pre-registration is required. $10 per person, with discounted registration for COVID Impacted families and free registration for SNAP, 3Squares and housing assistance.  Choose the registration option that matches your family situation, no proof of income is required.  Our summer programming is made possible through Summer Matters grant funding, administered by VT Afterschool.
