In this fun and comfortable environment you will learn the awesome skill of how to use our metal shop lathe, a tool essential for the basics of machining. No previous experience is necessary, all are welcome!

By the end of this class, you will be able to:

turn on the lathe
set it correctly for the type of material you are using
shape material, adjust settings, and cut and form to precision

Safety First!

In order to participate in this class you must have closed toed shoes and long pants. We will provide all other necessary PPE and safety equipment. Face masks are required at the discretion of class instructors as an FYI.
