Stone, Wood, & Steel - Make Your Own Lamp

Learn to use many of our hand and larger machine tools in the Wood and Metal Shops while having fun and creating something truly unique! No previous experience is required for this class, please bring a willingness to explore new materials and techniques.

In this class you will learn how to:

choose ideal materials based on form & feel
sand and soften firewood into crafted wood
center and drill a long straight hole
apply epoxy resin
bend, weld, and paint steel
assemble a functioning lamp, including connecting electric components
confidently work in both the Wood & Metal shops

Join us in January, one of the darkest months, and bring some LIGHT and and skills into your world.

This is a four-session class, taking place on Tuesdays January 10, 17, 24, & 31 from 6-8PM.

Cost: Members $200, Non-members $225.00
