Succulents in flower pots: a collaboration between pottery and stained glass!

Come learn the basics of stained glass and pottery while you create a glass succulents and a clay flower pot! Check out the picture!

In this How-To class, participants will learn the basics of Stained Glass

• Choosing coordinating colors
• Cutting & grinding shapes that fit together
• Foiling & burnishing
• Soldering
• Finishing with a patina

And

you will learn the basics of creating a pinch pot and glazing it in your own style. Everyone will go home with a completed piece and the beginner skills to continue both stained glass and pottery.  

This or one of our other introductory level stained glass classes is required to gain independent access to the stained glass shop at The MINT. This also functions as an introductory class for independent use of the pottery studio.

All are welcome! No prior experience necessary. Please wear close-toed shoes! 

This is a two session class instructed by one of our glass leads, Lisa and one of our pottery leads, Tiffany.
