Base fee:
  • If you lost employment or housing due to the pandemic or consider your family "low income" feel free to pick this reduced registration pricing option.
  • If you currently receive SNAP or 3 Squares benefits or housing assistance from the state, please use this registration option.

Bird House - Build it at The Boiler!

Join us at The MINT for Bird house building on Saturday, April 15th from 10-12pm.  Spring is here, and that means the birds will need places to build nests to stay safe.

Learn how to:

  • Build a bird house 
  • Use basic woodworking tools
  • Cut with a Chop saw 
  • Make holes with a drill press 
  • Use a power driver
Leave with some homes for our feathered friends to hang in your yard or gift to a neighbor.

This class is ideal for youth ages 8-12 years old.

Bring a snack and a water bottle.

Pre-registration is required. $10 per youth, with discounted registration for COVID Impacted families and free registration for SNAP, 3Squares and housing assistance.  Choose the registration option that matches your family situation, no proof of income is required. 

 - Our programming is made possible through Expanding Access grant funding, administered by VT Afterschool.

A place for tinkerers, makers, and small businesses to have space, contacts, and equipment to thrive. If you possess a passion for creating and making, a MINT membership is for you.
