This is a beginner-friendly class; instruction will be provided on safety, finding files to print, use of slicing software, printing setup, and washing/curing prints. We will learn how to prepare an object to be printed during the first session. We will print, clean, and cure the object in the second session.

This will cover both FDM & Resin printing and the printers at The MINT

Participants must be at least 14 years old

Students will learn:

  • Proper safety while using the resin printer.
  • Setting up a FDM printer
  • Finding files to print.
  • How to use Lychee Slicer.
  • How to use Prusa Slicer
  • Proper supporting and howling techniques.
  • Finding the proper exposure setting for the printer.
  • Washing and curing the printed object.

Participants should bring:

  • USB Thumb drive (any size)
