Introduction to Mosaics - Bird Houses

Calling all crafty teens! Join us for this fun project creating a beautiful Mosaic Birdhouse. This are not only beautiful, they are functional and suitable for outdoor use by your feathered friends. This course is open to teens ages 12-15.

This is a two-part class: Saturday, September 21st and Saturday, September 28th from 10AM-1PM

Session 1: how to prepare the birdhouse substrate, how to create a design and select tesserae for your project, how to select an appropriate adhesive. Build your design

Session 2: Grout your design.
