MOSAIC TABLES

In this introductory 3-session course, you’ll explore the art of creating mosaic tabletops. We will be using glass and ceramics to mosaic a round table top which also acts as a tray.
From selecting diverse substrates to mastering adhesive and grouting techniques, this class will equip you to craft a stunning table that doubles as a tray.
Course Objectives:
- Plan and create a custom mosaic tabletop design on a round table
- Learn to cut and use glass and ceramics
- Learn techniques to ensure a level, functional surface
- Learn adhesive, grouting, and finishing techniques for durability and beauty

Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and closed toed shoes. All other PPE provided by the Mint.
This course counts as an Orientation to the Glass Shop. Mint Members will be able to use the shop independently upon completion of this course.
