About the Class

Instructional, tool usage, and methodology

Learn about several different methods to create letterpress capable printing blocks for your printing projects. Class discussion on hand carving, laser engraving, and materials collage.

Participants will get hands on experience with carving a linoleum block.

Together the class members will select/modify a digital image and engrave a linoleum block. At the end of the class we will use the blocks created to make prints.

• Parameters for successful printing

• Help design, and observe a laser engraved block
