Join the Rapid Prototyping lead Michael Woods for a basic intro to illustrator and the laser Cutter. We will cover Setting up a document in illustrator, processing a document for laser cutting,  finding the correct type of document for cutting, and the basic tools within illustrator to get to a cut path for laser materials.

We will also cover calculating the correct speed and power for the laser for a material.

As an example project I will be cutting a door for a shelf.
