How does color manipulate you into buying more, eating more, feeling energized or relaxed?  How can we all take advantage of these effects?  Join Austin Bach, MINT member and Maine College of Art grad to get the low-down on how color influences us.  While this class builds on Color Theory 1 and Color Theory 2, Theory 1 and 2 are not prerequisites for this class.

We will explore the effect that color has on our mood and the feelings/mantra/archetypes associated with colors. We'll also discuss how corporations utilize this phenomenon to manipulate unsuspecting individuals. Students will utilize laser cut stencils to screenprint brand logos onto T-shirts to showcase a brand logo in a color that distorts the archetype associated with the company.  Please bring your own white or light grey t-shirt.
