Sweet ride!! Upgrade a BMX Bike

In this Build It at The Boiler session we will be tearing apart a BMX bike and tagging it up with cool colors and sweet decals. You will learn how to use different kinds of wrenches to take apart a bike, the art of applying spray paint and good vinyl decals technique. By the end of this class you will have greasy hands and knowledge of how a BMX bike works, plus the skills to dress up your own ride. 

This is a drop-off session for teens (generally kids 13+ but younger kids are welcome if they will be able to complete the project without caregiver help).  Dinner will be provided.  Bring a water bottle.  Pre-registration is required. $10 per person, with discounted registration for COVID Impacted families and free registration for SNAP, 3Squares and housing assistance.  Choose the registration option that matches your family situation, no proof of income is required.  Our summer programming is made possible through Summer Matters grant funding, administered by VT Afterschool.
