Before you come to the social look in your junk drawers, in the garage, kitchen cabinets, craft room, toy boxes and any other place where odd objects might be found with an eye for what kind of texture it might make when pressed into clay. Bring a collection of things to try out on your clay slabs.
If you have things you may be interested in leaving for others if they make cool textures, we are always on the hunt for small unique texture makers.
This event is a time for potters age 16+ of all ability levels to gather and socialize. It will also be a time to create and learn from each other. The demonstration by the host is an optional activity. You will be free to work on an ongoing project, a new project, or create something inspired by the host, surrounded by others who love clay too.
You must be a MINT member to attend and have some experience with clay.
The 5 dollar registration fee will serve as a space rental for the MINT to support our space.
