Textured Metal Earrings or Pendant

An introduction to texturing metal using stamps and hammers to create designs for earrings and pendants.

Students will take home a pair of handmade earrings or a pendant while learning the skills to continue making jewelry on their own!

This class will explore the use of hammers, dabbling blocks, and disc cutters to create jewelry pieces.

What you'll learn:

• How to use metal stamps and hammers, metal blocks, dabbing blocks, and sandpaper. 
• Safety and proper use of tools 
• This class will include an Orientation to the shop that will allow participants to use the shop on their own after completion*

Safety guidelines for attendance:

Wear eye protection and masks provided by instructor when using certain tools during the construction of a jewelry piece.

Wear closed-toed shoes, tie back hair, and do not wear clothing or jewelry that can become caught in machinery or around equipment.
