Join Brian Farnum of B. Farnum Photography and Bill DeForest of Castleton University for a hands-on session on taking high-quality photos of your work. Brian and Bill will go over some basics for getting great shots with any camera (even a smartphone), lighting tips and tricks (including a five cent trick that will improve your photo lighting 100%), backgrounds and shadows, texture and reflections.
Then we'll have some hands-on time to take photos with Brian and Bill's help, and then we'll wrap up the afternoon with a short session on ways to improve your photos after you've taken them with lighting and color correction, sharpening and more, on computer or a phone.
Bring a camera or smartphone and a laptop if you have one, plus one or two items that you'd like to try to photograph.
Cost: FREE
