Half- Week SUMMER CAMP 1: The Science of Summer!
Get ready for a summer of fun and discovery at "The Science of Summer" camp! After a busy school year, it's time to recharge, enjoy the outdoors, and even help create an awesome outdoor play space with a scientific twist that we'll get to enjoy all summer long!
Camp Theme: The Science of Summer
Dates: June 23rd- 27th
Time: 8am-4pm (drop off is between 8-9am)
Location: 112 Quality Ln, Rutland VT, 05701
Age Groups: K-3rd grade & 4th-6th grade
Half-Week Rate: $175/ 1-3 days of camp
Important: After you have registered, please email us at marissa@rutlandmint.org to let us know which days your child will be attending and what age group they fall into (K-3rd or 4th-6th). This will help us ensure that we have adequate staffing and materials each day.
What to Pack:
- Snacks and lunch for your child each day.
- Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes for outdoor exploration and building.
- Sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle to stay protected and hydrated.
- Clothes that are okay to get a little dirty while engaging in outdoor science and building our play space!
- Optional: A notebook and pencil for observations.
A Summer of Scientific Exploration and Fun: Each day will bring four exciting activities focused on unwinding, outdoor play with a scientific lens, and collaboratively building our very own outdoor play space with elements that demonstrate scientific principles! Imagine helping to create a balance beam that explores weight distribution, a climbing wall that demonstrates leverage, and other fun features that teach us about the world around us. Get ready for active games, nature-based science experiments, and the satisfaction of building something amazing and educational together!
